I’m defiantly seeing a trend how each of the NFL Fox Sunday Kickoff commentator dresses. From classic navy suit and tie (Peter Schrager) to flashier patterned suit (Charles Woodson) to casual suits (Julian Edelman). Depending on your style and how you like to wear suits, you can find style inspiration for these commentators.
Michael Vick
I’m much happier with Michael’s suit and accessories this week. I am a sucker for navy and orange combos (Go BEARS) and his navy orange stripe suit is very GQ. His style in the past couple weeks has not been my favorite and his look today is much improved. It’s a classic look with edge. It’s not a cute or department store combo as he has worn the past couple weeks. It’s more classic and gentleman with edge just like he is. It’s business but cool. I could lose the tie bar but love the orange tie and pocket square combo. His accessories elevate his look and don’t stick out (like they have in the weeks past). You can’t see too well in my photos but the stripe in his suit is orange and I love the look. Plus, his suit fits him really well. Looking great, Michael Vick.
Charles Woodson
Charles Woodson looks great today and to me it’s his way of dressing casual. Usually, Charles would wear a tie or ascot but today his shirt is buttoned up and no tie. The purple pocket square sticks out (to me) but I don’t mind it. It shows you do not have to be so matchy matchy when you get dressed. That’s what we all did for prom. Wearing accessories that compliment are way better than matching perfectly. Charles’ suit is nice but hope we see a more inspiring look for week 5.
Peter Schrager
I like seeing Julian Edelman wearing suits casually week after week. Many of my clients ask how to wear suits or sport coats casually, and he has mastered that look with his outfits every week on NFL Fox Sunday Kickoff show. This week the suit is solid and flat solid – no texture. It’s ok. Green is a popular color for menswear this fall (and have been for many seasons now) but this shade of green as a flat pc dye fabric (it looks like that from my couch), and isn’t my favorite look. It’s not an easy color in a flat fabric for a suit to wear. Love the double breasted, love the knit underneath, just wish the fabric had texture or the color was a different shade of green. It’s just so blah and flat and no depth. It really makes his suit look cheap. Sorry Julian Edelman. I’m not worries about you or your style. You will sport something edgy and cool next week.

Charissa Thompson
Clarissa Thompson looks awesome in her black dress with suit lapels, black tights and heels. I love wearing black skirts or dresses with black tights. I can’t wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear tights every day. I’m loving Clarissa Thompson’s style this season and her looks continue to inspire me. Her classic tailored inspired pieces are feminine and professional. I wish more women would dress like her. Me included. I like how her looks do not have a lot going on. Not a ton of sparkle, frills, fabric everywhere, but instead, they are elegant and professional with style.
One last thing…. I’m grateful the gentleman did not wear white sneakers with their suits this week. Thank you for wearing dress shoes.
