Custom clothing is more than an outfit. It is a long-term investment in quality, confidence, and personal style.

Whether you're building a bespoke suit for the boardroom, a made-to-measure blazer that finally fits the way it should, or a mother of the bride or mother of the groom dress you'll treasure long after the ceremony, our in-studio appointments are designed around you. Your measurements, your preferences, your palette, your life.

Every appointment at our Phoenix studio is private, in-person, and unhurried. We take the time to understand your body, your taste, your calendar, and your closet, so what you leave with actually lives in your life.

The Custom Fitting Process

1. The Consultation

Your custom clothing journey begins with an in-studio consultation. You and Mary will discuss your lifestyle, upcoming occasions, personal style, and what you want your custom piece to accomplish. This is where we listen closely, ask questions, and start shaping a garment around your life.

2. Fabric and Design

Together, you'll select every detail that makes the garment uniquely yours: fabric, lining, lapels, pockets, buttons, and finishing touches. The fabric library features premium mills from Italy, England, and beyond.

3. Measurements and Fit

Mary takes precise measurements and evaluates your build, posture, and proportions to create a pattern made specifically for you. You'll also talk through how you prefer your clothing to fit and feel: tailored close, softly draped, structured through the shoulder, easy through the waist. Every preference is noted before your pattern is drafted.

4. Pattern and Construction

A custom pattern is created from your measurements and sent to our master makers, who begin constructing your garment with careful attention to structure and detail. This is the stage where craftsmanship meets your exact specifications.

5. Basted Fitting (when needed)

For more structured pieces, you'll return to the studio to try on the unfinished garment. Mary evaluates its fit, balance, and proportions, and any necessary adjustments are recorded before your final garment is completed.

6. Final Fitting

At your final appointment, Mary reviews the finished garment, confirms the fit, and ensures every detail is exactly as intended. You leave the studio with a piece made only for you.

Timeline

From consultation to final fitting, expect approximately 5 to 7 weeks.

MAKING A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION IS SO IMPORTANT.

"Mary has custom made both shirts and jackets for me. In addition, she has helped me find the right accessories to pull my look together. She carries amazing fabrics and patterns for both shirts and jackets, and her attention to detail is unsurpassed. Mary is professional and working with her is a pleasure. I asked her to speak to my executive team about dressing professionally. Her knowledge and insight helped inspire and guide them to dress in a more professional and polished manner at the office. Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our clients are working professional women in Phoenix and across the Valley who want their clothing to fit beautifully, wear comfortably, and reflect their personal style. That includes executives building a work wardrobe, mothers of the bride and groom preparing for a wedding, women shopping for a milestone event, and anyone who has grown tired of trying to make off-the-rack clothing work for a body it wasn't designed for.

  • A bespoke suit is a garment made completely by scratch from start to finish. A paper pattern is made, by hand for you. Your garment is handcut and one to 3 tailors will sew your bespoke garment mostly by hand but some seams by machine. For a custom made garment, a machine will make your personal paper pattern and cut the fabric, and a team of 5-8 tailors will sew your garment. With our tailors, both use quality fabrics and trimmings for both makes, however, the bespoke garment will have the highest quality of everything.

  • Pricing varies based on fabric, construction, and the number of pieces you commission. Women’s Custom Suits start at $1200, Women’s Custom Blazers start at $1000, Women’s Custom Skirts start at $500, Women’s Custom Slacks start at $550, Women’s Custom Dress Shirts start at $350, Women's Custom Dresses start at coming soon. Every quote is provided in writing after your consultation, so there are no surprises.

  • From consultation to final fitting, most custom garments take approximately 5 to 7 weeks. More elaborate pieces such as mother of the bride or mother of the groom dresses, formal gowns, or intricate suiting can take longer.

  • We recommend booking your first appointment 4 to 6 months before the wedding date. That timeline allows for careful fabric selection, multiple fittings, and any last-minute adjustments without the stress of a rush. If your event is sooner, contact us to discuss timing. In some cases, an expedited process may be possible.

  • Our in-studio fabric library features premium mills from Italy and England from mills such as Loro Piana and Scabal. Including seasonal wools, silks, cottons, linens, and lightweight tropical weights suited to Arizona summers. If you have something specific in mind that we don't stock, we can often source it.

  • Every garment is fitted at least twice, and the final fitting is our promise that everything is exactly as intended before you take it home. Minor adjustments after delivery are included as needed.

  • Yes. Our personal styling and wardrobe consulting service is available on its own for clients who want a considered closet, seasonal edits, capsule wardrobe planning, or one-on-one style guidance. Book a styling appointment to get started.
