Week two of NFL football is here. I’m excited for the Bears to play Sunday night football and Cardinals have their home opener against the Rams. Nothing beats waking up to watching the NFL Fox Sunday Kickoff Show and seeing what the crew is wearing. Let’s get to it.

Julian Edelman – Best Dressed

Julian wins best dressed this week. I love how he continues to wear unconstructed jackets and a more casual look but still polished and presentable. He’s wearing a cream/lt tan double-breasted suit (no shoulder pad) and a grey sweater underneath. I love the sweater look under this suit. It keeps it casual yet stylish and fresh. I wish he found a better sweater like a solid color and not one with the contrast collar. I’d love to see a solid brown color a touch darker than the suit or a solid cream sweater lighter than the suit color. Love his cuffed pants and dress shoes. He’s not wearing white sneakers. I love how no one (again this week) is wearing white sneakers with their suits. His look is something all men can wear and defiantly give this look a try. Overall, his suit is tailored trim but not crazy tight. Sure, his biceps are but maybe he likes that. I have to ask him.

Charles Woodson

Charles is sporting a bold burgundy and white plaid suit with burgundy shirt and floral tie. Not a suit pattern I’d choose for him but it doesn’t look terrible. Think about it, he wears suits every week and possible multiple times a week. I say this because just because he wears this, doesn’t mean I think all men should. I do wish he left the tie at home. Sometimes when you get dressed, you put on too many accessories (women do this too) and you should take one off before leaving home. I’d vote the tie. It makes the look too pedestrian, distracting and I think he’s sharper than it. Meaning, the tie doesn’t elevate this look. The shirt, tie and suit do not go together and think if you want to wear a bold suit (like this), wear a bold solid shirt and not a pattern tie like this. I love the color scheme and look just want him to be a little edgier.

Michael Vick

I love the suit (fabric) Michael Vick is wearing. It looks like a light blue, white brushed flannel and is so handsome. This week, he still is accessorizing like a department store. It’s too much. It’s too safe and what everyone wore 10 years ago. Meaning shirt, tie, lapel pin and tie bar. These accessories aren’t helping the suit. The suit is the best part of his outfit and would love to see him wear a white shirt and great tie (just tie not all the other bits) or patterned shirt and simple tie or patterned shirt and no tie. Michael continues to dress so proper suit and tie in a southern way and would love to see him in a more modern stylish look like Edelman – less accessories. He has the pieces just needs to style it better. Also, his pants are a bit wide and short. I would tailor then a touch trimmer.

Peter Schrager

Peter Schrager continues week 2 like week one but with better shoes and socks. Peter is not turning heads with his outfit today but that’s ok. If you’re a man who needs to wear a suit and look professional, take note of Peter’s look. I love that he doesn’t have a ton of accessories and isn’t trying too hard. He’s classic and tailored and you pay more attention to what he has to say. I’m thrilled he’s not wearing white sneaks and classic dress shoes.

Charissa Thompson

Love Charissa Thompson’s dress and hair. She’s wearing a black dress with gold buttons and strappy shoes. Love the bold shoulder pads on her dress. I think it works because it’s a classic dress with a little extra. She’s also tall, slim and the proportions work. I like that her look has one trendy piece (bold shoulder pads) and everything else is classic. Sure, Beyonce wears this look but her hair, shoes and makeup would be loud, fashionable and extra because that’s Beyonce. Here’s a way to take a Beyonce look but wear it your way we can pull it off and Charissa did just that. Q. Contrary 3168 East Camelback Road Phoenix, AZ 85016
