A PERFECT SOLUTION WHEN IT COMES TO FIT AND FINISH

Nothing feels quite as fine as wearing a brand-new outfit.

However, sometimes buying off the rack doesn’t always fit quite right, and problems sometimes appear. A hemline maybe too long, waist too big/small, sleeves too wide, pant legs too wide, dresses too long, and more. Simple alterations can help fine tune any garment to fit how you like.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • While custom made clothing is created from scratch, it isn’t always for everyone.  When you purchase clothing from a retailer (off the rack) they don’t always fit how you
like.  Simple changes to the garments can make the fit and feel better.  Simple adjustments to ready-made clothing can improve the look and feel of a garment.  If you are unsure, bring the garment in to review in person.

  • Yes, we ask all clothes are cleaned before bringing them over for alterations.  We will not work on soiled clothing or clothing covered in animal hair.  We appreciate your understanding.

  • Pricing varies and I listed starting pricing for many common alterations.  The price depends on the time and effort required for each order. We believe we will be able to accommodate your unique needs at a fair and competitive price.

  • Unfortunately, I need to see the garment in person to give a price.  Because at times clothes are made and constructed differently and that effects how we do the alterations, I need to see in person.  You are welcome to bring by anytime and ask for a quote.

  • Not at all.   We do not take appointments for alterations. You are welcome to stop by anytime.

  • We need 1 week to complete the alterations, however, if we can finish sooner but a case by case basis.

  • Yes, I do prefer for you to try the clothes on here in the store so I can mark and pin properly.  You are welcome to pin or mark at home (for yourself or someone else)
and bring the garments in with you.

  • Yes! It is a common garment I tailor.  I can do plain hems and original hems.  I can also taper the legs to be trimmer.  A lot of my clients can’t find the right fit.  It’s either too big in the waist or the thighs are too tight.  I can take the waist in or add darts to get the waist to fit right and taper the legs for a more modern look.  If you are unsure, let’s start with 1 pair and get them to fit right.  Then, I recommend you wear them and if you like the new fit, I can alter as many as you like. I do recommend washing your jeans a couple times before I adjust the waist or legs.

I have been fortunate to work with high-profile clients, and I remain committed to protecting the integrity of their privacy.

For clients that prefer the highest level of privacy during fitting appointments, I offer in-home or after-hours sessions at my store. All of your measurements are taken by me personally.

During fittings, the photos I need to collaborate with my tailors are always taken from the shoulders down to prevent identification, and unless you provide me with your explicit consent, I will not share any photos for promotional reasons.
