The question I get most often about Greyson Clothiers polos is the same one every time. What size am I?
It is a fair question. Most men buy the same brand for years because they know their size and never have to try anything on. Then a new brand comes along, the tag says large, and the large fits nothing like the large they own. Greyson is one of those brands.
So I measured them. Here is what a Greyson polo actually measures, size by size, and how to figure out yours in about two minutes.

How Greyson Polos Fit
Greyson runs generous. That is the short version, and it is the single most useful thing to know before you buy.
If you wear a large in a trimmer golf brand, you likely want a medium in Greyson. A lot of men size down one from what they expect, and the fit lands exactly where they wanted it. The cut has room through the chest and body rather than sitting tight, which is part of why the brand wears well off the course as much as on it.
Fabric changes things slightly. A heavier knit or a long sleeve polo will feel different from a lightweight performance piece in the same size, so use the chest number as your anchor and adjust from there.
Measure a Polo You Already Own
The fastest way to find your size is to measure the polo in your closet that fits exactly how you like.
- Take your favorite fitting polo and button it all the way up.
- Lay it flat on a table or bed with no bunching.
- Measure the chest, straight across, right below the armhole.
- Double that number. That is the chest measurement.
- Compare it to the chart above and pick the Greyson size that matches.
If your favorite polo measures 44 inches across the chest, a Greyson medium is your size. If it measures 46, go large.
